NEET MDS 2022: Health ministry instructs NBE to revise result as per reduced cut-offs

The National Board of Examinations is directed by the ministry of health and family welfare to revise results according to the reduced qualifying cut-off percentiles. The ministry has lowered the cut-off percentile for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) by 25.714 percentile as per Dental Council of India’s regulations for the master’s in dental surgery course.

The qualifying percentile for the 2022–23 academic session is 25.286 percentile for General (UR, EWS), 14.286 percentile for SC, ST, OBC including PWD of SC, ST, OBC and 19.286 percentile for UR-PWD.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducted registrations for round 1 of counselling for NEET MDS 2022 till September 23 and declared results on September 30, 2022. Round 2 of NEET MDS counselling round 2 of registrations are currently open from October 10 to 14. Allotment of seats will be released on October 17 and 18 and the provisional results of counselling will be out on October 29. As per schedule, NEET MDS 2023 examination will be held on January 8, 2023.
