Biography of AP Dhillon

Amritpal Singh Dhillon is a Canadian Sikh singer, producer, rapper and song writer associated with Punjabi music industry. Dhillon is well-versed with piano and guitar. He always wanted to pursue singing and after his graduation, he moved to Canada for the same. Dhillon’s songs are very popular and played almost everywhere. He gained much popularity when 5 of his singles peaked on the official charts company, UK Asian and Punjabi charts.

• Dhillon went to Little Flower Convent Sr. Sec school, Gurdaspur.

• He completed his graduation in business management from Camosun college Lansdowne Campus, British Columbia, Canada.

AP Dhillon Career

• AP Dhillon started his music career with the singles ‘Fake’ and ‘Faraar’ in 2019, labelled as, Run-up records.

• In 2020, two of his solo tracks, ‘Deadly’ and ‘Droptop’, entered the UK Asian chart and UK Punjabi chart.

• His single, ‘Majhail’, topped the Official Charts Company (UK Asian and UK Punjabi Chart) in June 2020 and became his best performance till date.

• ‘Excuses’ released in July 2020, peaked at number 3 on UK Asian and topped the UK Punjabi chart.

• Dhillon released ‘Brown Munde’ An emerging star in the Punjabi music industry in September 2020 in collaboration with Gurinder Gill, Gminxr, and Shinda Kahlon. Nav, Sidhu Moose Wala, Money Musik, Anmol Dalwani, and Steel Banglez.

• ‘Brown Munde’ also entered the Apple Music chart in Canada and became number 1 in the UK Asian chart.

• In 2020, Dhillon received his first EP, ‘Not by Chance,’ and occupied the top five of the Official Punjabi Music Chart in the UK.

• In 2021, he performed a live concert for the first time as part of ‘Over The Top — The Takeover Tour.’
